Volunteer
Most of our team are volunteers
Nearly all of UCF’s consultants volunteer their time. If you have a skill and a few hours a week, you can work directly with the team in Nakivale.
Education & training
Deliver online courses in leadership, trade skills, health, or finance. Several of UCF’s current programs began when one volunteer offered to teach.
Specialist consulting
Engineering, agronomy, public health, carbon markets, communications. UCF’s volunteer consultants work from four continents, and more are welcome.
Management & operations
Help program leads with planning, reporting, and partner coordination, a few hours a week, remotely.
Offer your skills
- Email hello@umojacf.org with what you do and the time you can give
- Meetings bridge Uganda and Australia time zones, so volunteers in Africa, Europe, the UK and Australia fit easiest, and the Americas work too with some flexibility
- Diaspora supporters: sharing UCF’s updates and campaigns counts too
